We believe your creative work belongs to you and you alone. That's why we designed Narrative Architect to run entirely on your local machine. Unlike cloud-based writing tools, your stories, characters, and ideas are never uploaded to our servers or any third-party service when you use local AI.

2. Data We Collect

Purchase Information

When you purchase Narrative Architect, PayPal collects payment information on our behalf. We receive only your name, email address, and transaction ID. We do not have access to your credit card or bank details.

Optional Analytics

The application may collect anonymous usage statistics (such as which features are used most) to help us improve the product. This can be disabled in Settings. No content from your stories is ever included in analytics.

Support Communications

If you contact us for support, we retain your email and support conversation to provide assistance and improve our service.

3. Your Creative Content

When using Local AI (Ollama):

• All AI processing happens on your computer
• Your stories are stored only on your local drive
• No content is transmitted over the internet
• We have zero access to your creative work

When using Cloud AI (optional):

• Your prompts are sent to the cloud AI provider (e.g., Google)
• The provider's privacy policy applies to that data
• We still do not receive or store your content
• You can switch back to local AI at any time

4. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect any data we do collect:

• All website connections use HTTPS encryption
• Payment processing is handled by PayPal's secure systems
• We limit access to personal data to essential personnel only
• We do not sell your personal information to third parties

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request a copy of any personal data we hold about you
• Request deletion of your personal data
• Opt out of any optional analytics
• Contact us with any privacy concerns
